Delaire Graff Botmaskop
Botmaskop is the biggest volume red at Delaire Graff and it’s a corker in 2021. Partnering Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 11% Petit Verdot and 8% Merlot, it’s floral, leafy and nicely textured, with top notes of graphite and bay leaf and a palate of blackberry and liquorice. It should age gracefully too. 2025-35’ – Tim Atkin MW, SA Special Report 2024, 94/100
‘Tight tannins belted around roast-capsicum fragrant fruit. It smells like caramelised roast veg and rosemary. Cherries. Terse finish, but well-controlled. 2024-2030’ – Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, 16/20
Stellenbosch. It is powerful, yet elegant and polished. A red blend with classic aromas of dark berry fruit, spice and cassis. The softness of tannins and balance in structure complete this wine on the palate
